Privacy Policy

This describes what SoftwareBetting's systems actually collect and process today. The operator's contact details below are placeholders (see Impressum) and this policy has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer — treat it as accurate but not yet final.

1. Who processes your data

The provider named in the Impressum is responsible for the processing described here. For any privacy request, contact the email address listed there.

2. What we collect when you create an account

Email address — used as your login identifier and for account-related communication.
Password — never stored in plain text. It is hashed with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 (100,000 iterations) with a unique random salt per account before it is saved.
Account creation timestamp — shown to you in Settings, used for support purposes.

3. Session cookie

When you log in, we set a single session cookie that identifies your logged-in session to our servers. It contains no personal information itself — it is a random token that is looked up server-side. It is strictly necessary for the gated dashboard to function and is not used for tracking or advertising.

4. Value signals and market data

The odds, prices and value signals shown in the Value Scanner and Track Record are derived from publicly available bookmaker and reference-price data. This data is not personal data and is not linked to your account unless you explicitly mark a signal as "seen" or add it to your own Portfolio, in which case that action is linked to your account so it can be shown back to you.

5. Telegram alerts (optional)

Telegram alerts are an opt-in feature configured under Settings → Telegram. When enabled, value-signal alerts are sent by our Telegram bot to a configured Telegram chat. We do not collect or store your personal Telegram account information as part of this feature.

6. Hosting and technical logs

SoftwareBetting is hosted on Cloudflare (Pages, Workers, D1). Like virtually any web service, Cloudflare's infrastructure processes technical request metadata (such as IP address, request timing and user agent) to serve the site, protect it against abuse, and provide basic operational logging. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, marketing pixels or cross-site analytics on this site today.

7. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account exists. Value signals are retained permanently as part of our public track record, but are not personal data. If you would like your account deleted, contact us at the address in the Impressum — self-service account deletion inside the dashboard is not available yet in this first release.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for EU/EEA residents, under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Impressum.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "last updated" date.
